GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS: In order to graduate and receive a diploma, a student must maintain a 75% average in all categories: aptitude, written tests, instruction notebook, and attitude, etc. Students attending classes at MSPDG will be expected to clean daily as well as weekly, and it will represent a portion of the final grade. All students may be required to pass final exams as well. The final grade will be based upon knowledge, methods, and attitude! Pop-quizzes and tests can be a part of the curriculum as well. Special consideration for students with test anxiety will be made upon request. CANCELLATION POLICY: Tuition fees must be paid via certified cashier’s check. The shipment of pre-learning assignment materials will be shipped upon receipt of full tuition and (notarized) refund policy agreement. A refund of partial tuition (minus shipping and restocking charges) will only be made to students who cancel their enrollment in writing via certified letter on or before midnight of the TENTH calendar day (arrival date is included in these ten days) after the shipment of pre-learning materials is signed for from the postal service. Example: If the student signed for the package on the 1st of the month, the school MUST receive notification from that student, via a certified letter, which must be delivered at the school on or before midnight on the 10th day of that same month to be eligible for a partial refund. No tuition, not partial nor full, will be refunded to the student after that. No exceptions. SCHOOL POLICIES: Students are expected to conduct themselves at all times in an acceptable manner. Students not able to attend class due to illness, etc. must make arrangements with the school before 10 am the day of the absence. Tardiness is not acceptable. We are a NON-smoking facility, at all times. A student’s course will be immediately terminated, with no refunds, as a result of any of, but not limited to, the following: 1. The abuse or purposeful mistreatment of any pet, solely at the school’s discretion. 2. The loss of, or serious injury to any pet. 3. Insubordinate and/or argumentative behavior to staff or other students, poor overall attitude. 4. Absence of more than 2 consecutive school days without prior notification to the school. 5. Absence of more than 10% of the total program, without prior arrangements. 6. Three or more incidents of tardiness, for any reason. 7. Stealing from school or other students. 8. All types of dishonesty, including knowingly furnishing false information to the institution documents of any kind with intent to defraud. 9. Theft or damage to the school premises, school property, or damage to the property of a member of the school community. 10. Failure to comply with directions of institutional officials acting in the performance of their duties. 11. Violation of the law on school premises in a way that affects the school community's pursuit of it's proper educational objectives. 12. Disorderly conduct or lack of emotional control that jeopardizes any person or animal at school. 13. Disregarding school policies. 14. Failure to maintain satisfactory progress. Student will be required to bring selected textbooks (a list will be provided) as well as various supplies (notebooks, pens and pencils, etc.) for their own personal use. Students are also required to purchase an equipment package which includes necessary grooming tools and supplies. (Some grooming tools may be supplied for student use only while attending the course on-site.) Student assumes any and all responsibilities for school equipment which has been checked out by that student; this equipment must be returned to the school in the same condition it was in when checked out, or else replaced by student at the school’s sole discretion. |
